Enviro school needs home

The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District’s proposed environmental school is still on target to open next school year, despite not yet having a facility to call home.

The program aims to take students out of the classroom and into the natural world to learn about sustainability and the environment, and is headed up by former Yennadon elementary vice-principal Clayton Maitland.
