Date set for feedback on green school

Imagine a student is at Allco Park and finds a salamander. The student could examine the salamander from a biological perspective, or look at the effect of humans on the life of salamanders. Math could be used to look at the patterns and shapes of their homes or at the area they exist in.

“How long can that one topic exist?” said Clayton Maitland, vice-principal at Yennadon Elementary.

The next day they might find a fish skeleton at the park – some of the questions that might arise are the effect of humans on fish, how far animals are carrying fish from the river incorporating graphing skills of how far calcium is spread from the river by animals.
